Please note that the Jar Band is NOT included. A jar band is necessary to attach an EcoJarz lid. It works just like a canning jar lid.
This lid is designed to fit Wide Mouth mason jars – please check your jars to make sure this lid will fit. Your jar should measure 3 inches inside the top, or around 3-3/8 inches from thread to thread. This item will not fit the smaller, regular mouth mason jars, which measure 2-3/4 inches across the rim.
We recommend washing your new EcoJarz Graters thoroughly with soap and water before use. Dry them and your tin jar bands well after washing and store in a dry place to avoid rust.
